Grout goes in

Floor almost all down, grout is starting to go in. By Monday hopefully it

will be dry and we can start putting in the kitchen! yay!

Lyon Conference

Our small group went to Lyon this weekend for a conference

It gave us such hope for France. It was lead by Pere David who

is on fire for our Lord.

We stayed at the hotel Le Royal which has a cooking school, the students cook dinner for you 

the waiters are all student

 all the food was very good, I want to go to this cooking school

Tatiana and I went to buy some corn for our chickens and when we saw 

these chickens we couldn't resist buying them

We named this cutie "Dior"

this is a grey Holland chicken, Their breed dates back to the 15 century!

havent named her

this is our new Araucana chicken, we havent named her, she likes standing on one leg

This is a white Slikie which we named Coco. She has 5 toes on each foot!
Originated in Asia in the 13th century.

UPDATE::
So sad to report that our beautiful grey Holland bird died, he arrived a bit
sickly and today he just couldnt make it another day :(

remodel update

The remodel has been very slow, we are practicing our patience, our 

biggest worry is that I wont have a kitchen for Michael's birthday.

That being said a lot has been done, the biggest thing was all the painting that 

had to be done. Ceilings, walls, doors, shutters all had to be repainted and has

taken a month and their not finished.
