The first thing I have to do is figure out how all the appliances work
It is rare to have a dryer. Last year some Americans rented the house
and insisted on having one, I am very grateful to them as when it rains
it is so humid there is no way your clothes will dry.
Also you have to iron everything here including your sheets!

The dryer was pretty easy to figure out
The washing machine is in the toilet room
Washing machines are much more complicated here.
If you dont select the right temperature you may boil your clothes.

The only thing I know about the remotes is that the green turns the TV on
They dont use a QWERTY keyboard here
We have yet to figure out how to change the message
The stove, turn the knob and press the little button on the lower right
The dishwasher
It has been a different life style already but one I am fully enjoying,
it has been great living outside your comfort zone and feeling very much
like the outsider. I feel like I can reinvent myself :)
