Easter

We went to visit Michael's friend Richard who lives in Normandy for Easter. He bought a 19th century chateau with an incredible history from Nazis to brothel owner. Inside it is still very beautiful and authentic. Sorry cant post interior pictures forgot to ask for permission. There is a main house and two adjoining buildings plus another building by the pond. We stayed in one of the adjoining buildings.

There off to see who can find the most eggs

Everyone had to find eggs with their names on them (you didnt think we were going to make it easy on them)

view from the house to our gite

"go away there all MINE"

they decided to be on teams, boys against girls

Michael and Richard

the original kitchen

the hippie neighbors

We thought it would be fun for the kids to make a scarecrow.
We found some pictures of a couple who got married there and left some photos
(bad idea to leave your pics lying around)

The adults ended up having more fun than the kids

OK so I had my camera and I couldn't resist taking some SynShots

Thank you Richard for your wonderful hospitality looking forward to future visits :))
