we stayed at the amazing Mira Moon hotel, it was on Hong Island. Hong Kong
is wild, tall building everywhere, noise, smells, people
our view
the gym which I had every intention of using, I had the choice of working out for an hour then taking a shower OR go touring. Touring won out so I never worked out..but I walked a lot :)
so much shopping, but I didnt find it cheaper than the US. There were some things
I cant get in France so I bought those items.
bamboo scaffolding
this was the computer mall, we didnt find the prices being that much cheaper, there were some deals and you can bargain if you buy more than one item
this is a great place to get cheap plugs, extension cords etc..
crazy taxi drivers, this guy was taxi and Uber
so many things to buy but you have to understand what your buying
this was the fish market where you pick your fish then go to a restaurant and they cook it
these guys were just flapping around
sea snails
With Edwin and his family, he picked the fish and the restaurant
explaining how to pick crab
this was bamboo oyster
thats a finger cleanser not tea
we went shopping at Stanley market
we took the ferry across
We decided to move hotels to the Kowloon side
beautifully done laundry
our view
our British plugs
this thing was awesome you took it with you and set up your phone to the wifi and had wifi everywhere!
Tv in our bathroom
another gym I just photographed
the mall attached to the hotel
everyone wearing black and on their phone!
this was the main breakfast room, it was very cold but had an amazing spread
because the main breakfast area was so cold we decided to try the VIP lounge, it was much nicer
they knew our name and greeted us every morning
off we go
we found a lively church!
this was the church book shop
We met with Richard and his new wife Rhonda
we couldnt do anymore Chinese food
Michael watching Tv and getting ready
my taxi driver named "Wong Wai"
a champagne surprise for Michael's birthday
?
Michael was told to go to the Peninsula for an amazing view, it was amazing but it was also really expensive, I couldnt figure out how the young girl could afford this place. Michael checked his email and the meant the Panorama NOT Peninsula
we walked around then left
here we are at the panorama hotel with an amazing view
our last night, it has been an unforgettable trip
the restaurant was closed so we had to order bar food, it ended up being 150 euros! for bar food
we should have stayed at the Peninsula and had a nice meal for the same price
we are now at the airport in the business lounge, sad to leave
