The Brazil side you are so close to the water you get drenched.
We would have loved to stay at the Belmond hotel but it was Mardi Gras
week and they were fully booked. It was quite a trek getting to the falls, first a taxi
to the border then you get dropped off at the gates of Iguazu park and take an 30 min bus ride
to the falls that are right in front of the Belmond hotel. We stopped there for lunch.
Here you have to the left Argentina, straight ahead Paraguay and on right Brazil
I used my Mexican passport to get in, you dont need a visa to get in. Its the
first time I have ever used it.
Belmond hotel
First thing we did was go to the Bird Sanctuary
now off to the falls, from the Brazilian side you get to see all the falls at once,
it is spectacular!
Bus drops you off right here
