belvedere palace

There is so much to see in Vienna, From the 13th to 20th century, Vienna was the capital of the Hapsburg dynasty. The Hopsburg ruled for over 650 years, ruling the Holy Roman Empire and German Nation.
The Belevedere Palace is now a museum which has Gustav Klimt's "The Kiss"
Pictures are not allowed inside but I did manage to get a few.
We play a game when we go to museums, we have to take a picture of our favorite painting and we talk about it at dinner. Part of the challenge is not getting caught.

Christmas market in front of Palace

the gardens which werent as beautiful as they are in the summer

inside is a grand staircase

This room was stunning!
view to Lower Belvedere
It was a cold day

Michael's favorite
This was my favorite. The painter did a self portrait then he killed himself.
I thought it was so sad
