Living in France kids love to play soccer which is called football here.
We took a bunch of soccer balls to Haiti for the kids and they loved it.
We also brought soccer balls for the kids here, they DIDN'T love it.
They love BASEBALL!! They are obsessed with it!
They think soccer is a sport for rich snobby kids.
We had no idea even if we did there is no baseball in
France so we couldn't get anything anyway.
Today was another "fun day," we decided to take them
to a resort. We got up early and waited for them. This was the only thing that
wasn't planned right. We should have brought the kids to the hotel the night
before and left this morning instead we waited and they didn't arrive till after 10am.
We still had an hour drive to the resort and they had to leave the resort by 3:30. Which
wouldn't give us a lot of time with them.
Yomar and Luis, their dad is the man that got shot,
we were able to sponsor Yomar, yippie!
Yomar was very shy and a bit terrified
we tried everything to calm him down till Mapi pulled out the bubbles
this is their guardian
only half of us got bracelets then they ran out, we had to wait to get more bracelets,
there was so much time waisted we just wanted to start our fun day
