Jurade Mass

It was the official opening of wine season, there was a Mass to celebrate.
The people in red are the Jurade (they are like wine police).
Grape picking starts this week. The year 2009 is an excellent
year so grab a bottle if you see one.

I also got some new software so I am trying it out on these photos

I didnt realize what a big deal this was until I saw press from all over the world

They were giving away these little breads.

Back to School

It was back to school. This year sangria was served.
It feels good knowing a lot of the parents. Tatiana feels very happy here.

This is Verginie who has 5 kids and is very involved in the church

Wine Time

It's getting close to Vendange time. The supermarket brings out all their supplies and has a blowout sale. There is a line of people waiting to get in to stock their wine cellars.
The only thing you have to do is know your wine to get the best deals.

This summer Tatiana and I discovered some amusement parks

We liked going into Bordeaux and playing in the water fountain

We also made lots of cakes and tested the batter

You need to have lots of confidence to pull off a green outfit with pink shoes and she does,
she had a very groovy hat, which she took off.
