We had a very busy christmas

We had two dinner parties

 Christmas day with the Apelbaums, it was a huge feast
first was Fois gras
then it was local mussels
then large prawns
then fresh salmon that Steph prepared by covering it in salt for a
 couple of days, it was tender and delicious!
then turkey with potatoes
then chocolate mousse
then a traditional chocolate log
coffee
sauterne

I was too embarrassed to pull out my camera for every course
but I will just tell you it was a christmas feast to remember we ate
for 5 hours :)

 Back from our weekend getaway, I had forgotten that at one time Nice was owned by the Italians. Which explains their French accent, it sounds a bit Italian. On this trip we met several people from Corsica, they come over for work. Made us think that maybe our next holiday will be to Corsica
