Monolithic Mass

Today was a special Mass, it was held in the Monolithic Church. This church was built around the year 800. We have about 2 masses a year there.

At one time all the walls were painted, I cant even imagine how beautiful it must have been.

The boyscouts selling cookies. There is a big problem here with boyscouts.
There is a waiting list for the kids. There arent enough scout leaders.
Your kid can be on the list for years and never get in.
Which is why it is a privilege to be a boyscout.

Yup, its raining

Guy Fawks

On the very night that the Gunpowder Plot was foiled, on November 5th, 1605, bonfires were set alight to celebrate the safety of the King. Since then, November 5th has become known as Bonfire night. The event is commemorated every year with fireworks and burning effigies of Guy Fawkes on a bonfire.

The Maltus invited all the local Brits to a bonfire party.
The Maltus own Chateau Teyssier.

You can read more on the Chateau.....
