Kermesse

It was Mothers day (In France it on Sun June 7th) and last fund raiser of the year for the school. All the wine is donated from the local vineyards. The trick was to show up at 9am when they set up and get the pick of the litter. Tons of people showed up and walked out with cases to fill their wine cellars at a great price. We will be a bit more savvy next year.

lots of games to play for 30 cents a game

All kinds of food and sweets to buy

This was the Mothers day menu a 5 course lunch

They fed 150 people using the kitchen from the school and carted the food down the street to the church cloister.

Kids Bible study

We had Pete Clayton visiting here from the Us. He helped us on Sunday
do our study with the kids. Thanks to Robin H who suggested the book
"Family night tool chest "we got some great ideas.

We didn't think it went particularly well, I felt it was a bit chaotic the kids weren't listening.
Wasn't sure they were getting the message. After the mass we had some parents come up to us and thank us for teaching the kids such a great message.

I guess they did get it :)

God is so good, he gives us the affirmation we need to keep going.
